An award-winning CEO, Colleen Callander has a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record in building brands, establishing winning cultures and creating environments that allow people to be inspired, empowered and shine.
Colleen had her first taste of retail at the age of 16 and unbeknownst to her at the time, this summer job would be the start of an extraordinary retail career spanning over 30 years. She is now sharing not only her 13 years’ experience as the CEO of two of Australian Iconic fashion brands: Sportsgirl and Sussan, but also her incredible industry and leadership knowledge.
However, the path wasn’t always smooth sailing. Juggling three small children and a high-profile career, Colleen suffered burnout and decided to throw it away. The job, the career, the leadership, before chance stepped in, and she continued her road towards inspirational leadership and incredible success. After implementing boundaries and self-care into her life, she discovered the powerful, yet simple and effective ways to prevent burnout and create high performance living in business and in life.

In April 2021, Colleen launched her book ‘Leader By Design’ which has been met with rave reviews and immense success, including being nominated as a finalist in the 2021 Australian Business Book Awards.
